- This is my everyday life and thoughts. My husband and I are currently on an adoption waiting list, and are anxiously passing time waiting for the day we will become parents. The dream of our family has been a long-time in coming. The past few years have been a very bitter-sweet time for us. I started this blog to document and remember this time of our lives... we are truly receiving a gift of a lifetime. We are looking forward to the day that our lives will change instantaneously, but in the meantime... we are just average people experiencing the daily ups and downs, laughter and tears, trials and tribuations of everyday life while we wait. I have always found comfort in knowing others out there have similiar experiences to me; I hope this blog can bring comfort to those who feel stuck in everyday life and that no one is really alone in their life experiences.
